Anna Marie Evans — Lead Teacher, PreK-3 T-TH
“Blessed is she who believed that the Lord's words to her would be fulfilled.” (Luke 1:45)
Ms. Evans brings with her an extensive background in family bonding and nurturing touch. She is a Senior Corporate Trainer and former Administrative Board Member with The International Association of Infant Massage, IAIM®. She has extensive experience as a professional trainer in the field of massage therapy, working with a variety of families, hospitals, schools, and early family intervention agencies conducting IAIM®, CIMI® trainings throughout the country, and is a key team member in the development of the curriculum and various teaching materials presented during these trainings.
She has served as a faculty and advisory board member at The Baltimore School of Massage, and has been a visiting faculty member at local community colleges. Ms. Evans has the honor of working with internationally acclaimed author, relationship specialist, and therapist, Dr. Steven Stosny, Ph.D., founder of Compassion Power. She is a Certified Compassion Power Trainer and licensed to teach several Compassion Power Programs, including Dr. Stosny’s popular Compassionate Parenting Course.
Ms. Evans has a college degree in Mass Communications, and this November will complete an advanced degree in Psychology. She plans to specialize in working with families to encourage healthy family bonding. |

Ms. Nicole Roberts — Lead Teacher, PreK-3 M-F
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Ms. Roberts joined St. Paul’s School in the fall of 2008 and currently serves as one of our PreK-3 Lead Teacher five days a week. Before coming to St. Paul’s, Ms. Roberts worked as a private nanny and also taught at a small Christian preschool in Woodbridge. Ms. Roberts attended George Mason University, completing four years towards a BA is Sociology with a minor in Religious Studies. Ms. Roberts is currently working toward earning her teaching credentials through the Association of Christian Schools International. She was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year 2008 and has earned a series of Early Childhood certificates in Child Development.
Ms. Roberts has lived in Gainesville with her family for the past seven years. In her free time she enjoys volunteering, going to the beach, and leading her nephew’s Cub Scout Troop. Ms. Roberts attends Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Gainesville. |

Stephanie Landfried – PreK-3 Assistant Teacher
Romans 8:28 - “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Mrs. Landfried graduated from the Community College of Allegheny County in 1987 with an Associate’s Degree in Court Reporting, including an honorary membership into Phi Theta Kappa. In the early 90s, after serving in several administrative positions, she had the opportunity to serve as a substitute preschool teacher and returned to school for various computer certifications. In 1999, she began working at the Episcopal High School, Alexandria, VA, as Assistant to the Assistant Heads. And in the summer of 2005, she served as the Field Education Coordinator at the Virginia Theological Seminary, Alexandria, Virginia, a position she held until the birth of her youngest child.
Mrs. Landfried was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has lived in the Northern Virginia area for the past 25 years. She and her husband have a daughter in college, a son in high school, a daughter in middle school, and a daughter in elementary school. They enjoy summer trips to the beach, exercising, ice cream, and, most importantly, actively participating in their church’s programs. She considers it a blessing to be given the opportunity to work with fellow Christian co-workers to assist in teaching God’s children here at St. Paul’s. |

Candee Roth – PreK-3 Assistant Teacher
Mrs. Roth is married and has four wonderful children. She came to St. Paul’s this year after being a full-time, stay-at-home mom for the last 4 years. She and her family attend St. Katherine Drexel Mission, where she has taught religious education. Mrs. Roth loves spending her free time reading, going to the movies, and shopping. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 - “I have strength for everything and anything through him who empowers me.” |

Judi McCauley – PreK-2 and PreK-3 Classroom Assistant
Mrs. McCauley has had 5 years’ experience in teaching preschool age children and was the previous Director of Children's Ministry at St. Paul's Church. She is currently assisting in the two- and three-year-old programs at St. Paul’s, and teaches music and piano to our older students as well. She also volunteers in teaching religious education at her local parish, St. Katherine Drexel Mission.
Mrs. McCauley has had 11 years of private piano training and teaches private piano lessons. Prior to joining us, Mrs. McCauley worked at MCI Telecommunications Corp. for 14 years and earned a degree in Data Processing from Essex Community College in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to working with children, Mrs. McCauley enjoys spending time with her family, painting, hiking, and gardening. She and her family have lived in Virginia for fifteen years, ten of which have been in Haymarket. Her favorite Bible passage is: “There are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of working, but it is the same God who inspires them all in every one.” (I Corinthians 12:4)
