Lorrie Crockett – PreK-4 Lead Teacher
Mrs. Crockett holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Concord University in Athens, WV. She has experience teaching in the public and private school settings at both the elementary and preschool levels. She took a short break from working to raise her children. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Education from Old Dominion University.
Mrs. Crockett resides in Warrenton with her husband, two sons, and their dog, Booker. Mrs. Crockett is a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where she also teaches Sunday School. Her favorite Bible verse is Deuteronomy 31:8 - “The Lord is the One who goes ahead of you; He will be with you; He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” |

Sherri Dreesen – PreK-4 Lead Teacher
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.” (Psalm 19:14)
Mrs. Dreesen comes to us with 13 years of homeschooling experience and a strong desire to help children gain the foundational skills they need to succeed in school. She has taught classes for early elementary science, physical education, and Sunday School. Mrs. Dreesen and her family have lived in Gainesville for 5 years and attend Manassas Assembly of God church. She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and visiting new places. |

Heather Mohmand – PreK-4 Lead Teacher
Ms. Mohmand holds a college degree and a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. She taught 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old PreK students for three years prior to joining the faculty of St. Paul’s. Before embarking on her educational career, Ms. Mohmand worked in several large corporations as a customer service representative and in sales. She enjoys jogging, computers, and reading.
Ms. Mohmand’s favorite Bible verse is: “This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24) |

Chris Powers — Lead Teacher, 4 YO Junior Kindergarten and German Teacher
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
Mrs. Powers is an experienced preschool teacher and has been teaching Pre-K4 at St. Paul's for 4 years. She holds ACSI Certification as an Early Educator. She double-majored in International Studies and German at Millersville University in Pennsylvania and is St. Paul's cocurricular German teacher. Prior to her teaching career, Mrs. Powers spent years doing international marketing and sales in the corporate world.
Mrs. Powers has a true passion for teaching that has strengthened while being a teacher at St. Paul's School. She continues to enjoy traveling and experiencing new wonders of the world but embraces the fact that God has chosen her path as a teacher. She fully enjoys being in the classroom and watching the joy on the faces of her students as they learn the word of God and grow in their faith.
Mrs. Powers and her husband Jeff have a daughter, age 9 and a son, age 6. They attend Park Valley Church in Haymarket. |

Anita Stevens — Lead Teacher, PreK-4
Ms. Stevens brings eight years of experience teaching PreK-4, most recently at Midland Christian Academy, to her work at St. Paul’s. She studied Early Childhood Education at Ashford University and has completed ACSI Coursework in Principles and Practices of Christian Early Education. She has been an active member of Midland Church of the Brethren for over 25 years, having served on the Church Board, as a Sunday School teacher, as a Youth/Children’s Ministry Advisor, and as Treasurer on the Education Board.
Ms. Stevens is a single mom to two boys. They live in Sumerduck with their miniature poodle and two birds. Luke 12:22-34 has had significant meaning in her life over the past few years, reminding her of God’s love and omnipotence. Verse 34 states, “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” Ms. Stevens’ sons and students have been the treasures in her life and have assured her that God is in control. She knows that He has put her here for a reason, and for that she is truly grateful. |

Lynn Biddle – PreK-4 Assistant Teacher
Mrs. Biddle moved from Maryland to Haymarket last year. She and her husband have been married for eleven years. They have a son who is seven years old and a daughter who is five years old. Prior to coming to St. Paul's, Mrs. Biddle substituted as an assistant teacher at an early education center. She has worked as an administrative assistant and has sales experience. She attends Park Valley Church, and her favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 - “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” |

Marie Ring — Assistant Teacher, PreK-4
Mrs. Ring began working with preschoolers in 2002, and then served as a preschool teacher or assistant teacher for four years in the Northern Virginia area prior to coming to St. Paul’s. She attended Skagit Valley College in Washington State, majoring in Science and Nursing.
Mrs. Ring is married to a retired Naval officer and they attend Holy Trinity Church in Gainesville with their three children. She is a Religious Education Director, a Catholic Youth Organization Leader, and a CCD Instructor. She has also held many leadership positions working with children from Boy Scouts, Campfire USA, and Girl Scouts. She enjoys traveling, boating, hiking, and anything that permits her to be outside. Her favorite Bible verse is - “Commit your work to the Lord. And then your plans will succeed.” (Proverbs 16:3) |

Tammy Rowland – PreK-4 Classroom Assistant
Matthew 6:34 - “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Mrs. Rowland and her husband have lived in Gainesville for the past 14 years. By the grace of God, they were blessed with a wonderful daughter five years ago. Mrs. Rowland had the opportunity to be a stay -at-home mom, and, when her daughter began attending St. Paul’s School, she offered her services as a substitute in various classrooms. Mrs. Rowland came on board as a regular faculty member this year and is greatly enjoying her new experience here at St. Paul’s. |
