SUMMER CAMP 2010
We are very excited about the range in offerings of our summer program this year! We have tutorials, fun camps and camps with an academic focus!
Our program has been designed to provide the best academics for your children while having fun and developing social skill in a Christian environment. We are also offering tutorials which will be limited to five children per class.
Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Cost: Fun camps $95 / Week
Academic camps $125 / Week
Discounts: Second sibling 20% off;
Second class/tutorial in the same day is 20% off.
Third sibling is 30% off .
Beforecare: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Cost $ 25
Aftercare: 12:00.p.m – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $90 ($35 if your child is in summer camp)
Children will have lunch, afterwards a quiet time and finally some light physical activity.
Extended Care: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p. m.

JUNE 21 – JUNE 25
Lil’ Chefs!
We’ll show them simple recipes and hands on fixing food for themselves, healthy eating and they will make their own recipe book! Literacy and math skills will be integrated with their kitchen skills. This will build their confidence as they learn a little independence. Monday through Friday; 9am – 12 noon; Cost: $95
Tutorial - Spanish
Children will travel through Spain, parts of South America and Mexico as they use and improve their Spanish-speaking skills. A second week of tutorial may be offered depending on demand. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost $ 125.
JUNE 28 – JULY 2
Around the Globe
This week children will spend each day experiencing a different culture. They will learn a little about the geography and history of each country. Teachers from the respective countries will share their traditions, language, music and dance and much, much more about their homeland! Monday through Friday; 9am – 12 noon; Cost: $95
Tutorial – Handwriting!
Children will practice proper pencil grasp, shape, spacing and sequencing of letters. Young children will use HWT wood pieces, HWT play-doh, magnets, crayons and pencils. Tues and Thurs from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Cost $75. Mon- Wed- Fri from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Cost $110.
JULY 06 – JULY 09
All About Nature!
Nature walks, we will talk about trees and how important they are in our everyday life. Children will work on a nature journal identifying the different plants, animals and also learn a few eco-friendly tips.
Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost $ 95.
Tutorial – Reading!
Reading is fun! Children will build their reading skills through phonological awareness and phonics. Strategies to jump start their reading and make it enjoyable will be employed! Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Cost $ 110.
July 12 – July 16
The Cat or the Hat?
It is both! We will be reading about everything from cats and hats, including the Dr. Suess series to books about summer fun. We will also cover writing and spelling! Children will be ready to take on story time on their own! Monday through Friday
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost $ 125
Violin!
(Parents! You can rent a violin for under $7 a month. Ask us how!
We will be offering an introduction to violin and learning to listen and distinguish violin music from music made by other musical instruments. Children with violin experience will be challenged to learn more! Parents do not need to rent a violin for the week. We will provide one they can share. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost $95.
JULY 19 – JULY 23
Math-a-Magicians
This week is all about numbers, number games and fun. We will use simple and fun fractions, games involving dominoes, balls, and trinkets. We will also use interactive websites! Learning math is much more fun when play is integrated with learning! Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Cost $125
Princess Ballerina
A week of ballet "Princess Ballet" will expose your child to the graceful moves of a ballerina especially in "Praise & Worship" ballet. Your child will learn how basic ballet positions and steps. She will hear and understand ballet terms such as a la seconde, meaning a step that moves sideways, en arrière a move backwards (away from audience), a pirouette, a controlled term on one leg and other French terms. They will also learn why the terms are in French (ballet first became a formal dance form in France).
Praise & Worship ballet will include stories about women of royalty in the Bible. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Cost $95.
JULY 26 – JULY 30
Princesses and Pirates!
Calling all Princesses and Pirates, from classic literature to Disney favorites! We will let imagination flow and take us back in time to great adventures, exciting treasure hunts, and rescuing damsels in distress. Dress up plays and lots of fun! Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Cost $95.
Piano
Introduction to Piano
All week! ...And a second week if there is demand! Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost $95
AUGUST 2 – AUGUST 6
Dinosaur Dig!
Back by Popular Demand
This camp sold out the first two days it was offered last year. We will learn what archeology is and study the differ¬ent types of dinosaurs. Fun games like Footprint search and dinosaur fossils made out of play-dough! Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Cost $95

Hola Spanish!
A week of introduction to Spanish language, culture, songs and fun games! Having fun breaks down the learning barriers and increases the acquisition of learning a new language! Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Cost $95.
AUGUST 23 – AUGUST 27
Beach Week!
Children will visit the beaches of the world. There will be water play! Seaside artwork and more! Children will learn about all the different ocean species and why is important to help keep the ocean and other bodies of water clean. Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Cost $95
